The Lost Art of Handwriting

While in the 21st century there have been many technological advances such as e-mail, BlackBerry, IPhone and text messaging the beautiful art of handwriting seems to have been lost. If you are one of those individuals who consider their handwriting to be unique and artistic we invite you to exhibit your art work at the Third Street Gallery in our exhibit called “The Lost Art of Handwriting”.

Requirements:

Display: All art must be able to be hung on a wall OR displayed in a case that measures 13 x 13 inches.

Art Work: Can be but not limited to, sketch book pages with notes written on them, shopping lists, correspondence letters, envelopes, poems, calligraphy, architectural drafting and or lettering, thank you notes, dedications, music, and other literary texts.

Entries for this exhibit are due by Friday November 13, 2009 5 pm

Exhibit will be displayed from November 20 through January 8, 2010. Opening reception will be on Friday December 4, 2009 from 5-7:00 pm. Please return application and art work to our office in City Hall at 206 E. Third Street Moscow, ID 83843 by Friday November 13, 2009
