Call for Artists - Spring Anniversary Show

The Greymalkin Gallery, LLC. invites artists to help us celebrate our anniversary this April. Artists may submit artwork and fine crafts for a juried show to be exhibited during our Spring Anniversary Show. There is no theme for this show. Artists are free to submit their choice of work for consideration. Any form of art will be considered. The show will be exhibited in the gallery from April 1, 2010 through May 1, 2010.
The submissions may be any form of art or fine craft, two dimensional or three. Paintings, ceramics, quilts, jewelry, glass, metal, etc.
Artists may submit up to five pieces for consideration. There is no entry fee. All work must be in a finished condition and available for sale.
Artwork will be accepted at the gallery during normal business hours:
WED – SAT 10am – 5:30pm
SUN, MON, TUES - CLOSED
Deadline: 03/13/10

The Lost Art of Handwriting

While in the 21st century there have been many technological advances such as e-mail, BlackBerry, IPhone and text messaging the beautiful art of handwriting seems to have been lost. If you are one of those individuals who consider their handwriting to be unique and artistic we invite you to exhibit your art work at the Third Street Gallery in our exhibit called “The Lost Art of Handwriting”.
Requirements:
Display: All art must be able to be hung on a wall OR displayed in a case that measures 13 x 13 inches.
Art Work: Can be but not limited to, sketch book pages with notes written on them, shopping lists, correspondence letters, envelopes, poems, calligraphy, architectural drafting and or lettering, thank you notes, dedications, music, and other literary texts.
Entries for this exhibit are due by Friday November 13, 2009 5 pm
