Welcoming Spring and David McGranaghan
Sadie Galloway — Sat, 02/27/2010 - 15:43
The Greymalkin Gallery, LLC is ready to welcome spring to the area and our newest artist, David McGranaghan.
David recently moved to the Palouse area and is already busy creating wonderful oil paintings of local scenes. He also has his work on display at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle. We are very excited to have his work here at the gallery and online at greymalkingallery.com.
Also, Nancy Spinks is ready for warmer weather with a fresh batch of new spring and Easter cards and some darling creative collages.
Josephine Brooks has been developing some new "Garden Flower" lampwork beads. They have a transparent green base and are encrusted with flowers of all colors and sizes. She also recently brought in a lavender lilly necklace, along with some new earrings in yellow and black.
And, Sadie Galloway has been working on framed photographs, including several of her Vintage Car Collection.
Don't forget to save the date of Friday, April 9th, 2010 from 5 pm to 7 pm for our reception to the "Spring Anniversary Art Show."
Thanks and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Happy Valentines Day from the Girls at the Gallery
Josephine Brooks — Thu, 02/04/2010 - 12:13
The Greymalkin Gallery, LLC would like to wish you a very happy Valentine's Day.
We are pleased to have a large selection of intricate, handmade Valentine's Day cards by Nancy Spink. You may have seen her work at the Women's Work Show at the University of Idaho this last November. She also has some spring, wedding, and Easter cards here as well.
Also, Chrissy Butler, our silversmith, has brought in some lovely new sterling silver and turquoise jewelry along with some freshwater pearl and sterling silver jewelry done up to look like grape bunches. Very fun!
And, Josephine Brooks has been working on new spring rose, frog, and bee beads. They're vanishing quickly though, so grab them while you can.
Thanks and have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
