Some Like It Hot Show Call For Artists The Greymalkin Gallery, LLC. invites artists to submit artwork and fine crafts for a juried show celebrating summer. There is no theme for this show. Artists are free to submit their choice of work for consideration. Any form of art will be considered. The show will be exhibited in the gallery from June 30, 2010 through July 31, 2010. The submissions may be any form of art or fine craft, two dimensional or three. Paintings, ceramics, quilts, jewelry, glass, metal, etc. Artists may submit up to five pieces for consideration. There is no entry fee. All work must be in a finished condition and available for sale. Artwork will be accepted at the gallery during normal business hours: WED – SAT 10am – 5:30pm SUN, MON, TUES – CLOSED Deadline: 06/05/10 The entry form can be downloaded online or picked up at the gallery.

Submission Requirements Labels: Clearly label your artwork with your name, the title of the artwork, the medium, and the price (including the 35% commission fee).
Condition: All artwork submitted for consideration must be for sale, finished, and ready to display, including all of the necessary mounting and display hardware. Paintings and pictures must have mounting hardware installed (preferably wire) and be ready to hang. No exceptions. Failure to finish your pieces will result in immediate disqualification.
Deadline: 06/05/10
Delivery: Art may be delivered to the gallery during business hours: WED – SAT 10am – 5:30pm SUN, MON, TUES – CLOSED Art may not be submitted for consideration via online means.
Insurance: While the Greymalkin Gallery, LLC. will take every precaution to protect your art, our insurance may not cover every situation and does not cover small claims. Artists are encouraged to arrange for their own insurance coverage.
Selection: Artists will be notified of the results by 06/18/10. Pick Up: Artwork not selected for the show must be retrieved by 06/31/10. Any unsold artwork must be pickup by 08/07/10. Do not leave your art here past this date. Should your art still be in our display area when you come to retrieve it, please ask one of us to pull your work for you. Do not attempt to remove it yourself. Damage caused to other art by failing to comply with this condition must be payed for, in full, immediately. No exceptions.
Photography: By submitting to the show, artists grant the Greymalkin Gallery, LLC. Permission to photograph and use the photographs of their artwork for publicity purposes.
Sales: All work must be available for sale. Greymalkin Gallery, LLC. Will retain 35% commission on the sale of the artwork. Include this commission fee in your sales price. Payments are sent to artists by the 15th of the month following the end of the show.
